Canned pineapple fritters

Ciao lovely people!

I am back with another yummy recipe, today I am going to show you how to make delicious fritters with canned pineapple!

The method couldn't be easier: it is perfect for beginners in the kitchen, literally anyone can do this.

It is also very economical and practical recipe for when you don't have many ingredients in the pantry.

It is quick to prepare therefore it would be great last minute quick fix for when you are guests and no dessert. The best part is that anyone can eat that: it is vegan!

Ingredients:

Canned pineapple

220gr of water

150gr white flour (plus some more in a bowl)

4gr cinnamon

35 gr sugar



Put a wok pan or a pot with high borders on high heat and pour abundant sunflower oil (low oil will make them soggy so don't be stingy).


Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and then add the water. Whisk well with a fork to obtain a loose batter.


Put some flour in a bowl or a plate and dip a slice of canned pineapple in it, making sure do flour both sides .


After than, dip it in the batter on both sides, take it out with a fork and let the excess dripping down.


When the oil is well hot, gently but quickly put one the slice of pineapple coated with the batter in the pan.


Let it cook on both sides for 3 minutes. The best practice would be to cook one, max two slices at time to avoid the temperature oil the oil to go down.

When they are ready, take them out with a slotted turner to drain any excess of oil.


Put some paper towel on a tray or a plate and place the hot fritters on it. Sprinkle some more sugar on them.


Serve warm and enjoy!
