Ciao, welcome back to my blog!
Today I am going to share with you my most loved February products!
2020 has been the month of storms so far. How annoying! My weekend date nights have been ruined by the wind and the rain.
At least all my days off spent at home had some pay off: productive cleaning and laundry sessions, online shopping, random Sunday naps, new recipes to try and hours and hours of Netflix + snacks. Lovely!
That brings me back to the main topic of this post: my most loved items.
What I bought, read, watched and listened to that you will love as well.

-Pawpaw hair spray
I sadly ran out of my beloved Redken heat protector at the end of Jan so I decided to try something new.
I was recommended this apparently miraculous serum by a couple of friends and I am very happy with my purchase. I love its long-lasting summery smell, plus it actually helps my hair be super silky and soft. I usually apply a couple of pumps on my dump hair after the shower before the blow-dry. The result is fantastic and it is also less expensive than my previous product, which is a bonus. Excellent value for money!
-Booja Booja Hazelnut chocolate truffles
I thought I could indulge a bit more into my chocolate addiction after Valentine's day as we are still wrapped into layers and layers of knitwear...I recently received these truffles and I swear, they are the best thing in the world.
They are also dairy and gluten-free, which makes them suitable for vegans. The only problem: the box is too small. No way I will share.
-It's skin Tiger Cica calming serum with Centella Asiatica extract
I have very sensitive skin all year round, but the latest wind weather made the issue worse. My face was just incredibly irritated by the cold wind, so I desperately needed a good quality serum to help with the redness and the itchiness.
I found this product from a brand that I never heard of before while browsing in the sale section on my favourite beauty website.
I gave myself a couple of days to think about it and to read the reviews of other customers as I was torn with another product.
I ended up investing in this serum as the formula looked a bit more specific for my skin.
It's been a week since I started using it and I can already see some results: less dry patches, less redness on my cheeks and around my nose and my skin feels soothed. Very chuffed with my choice!
-Fortune mini dress
My boyfriend booked a nice Valentine's dinner in a fancy restaurant in Coven Garden and I decided to surprise him with a new dress. This was the winner (I literally tried loads): cute small print, flattering and sexy cut without being slutty and something I know I can wear to work as well.
-Oliver Bonas Agata twist gold plated ear cuff
I really wanted to pierce my ear but I am a pussy and I am scared. This is the perfect solution! Love love love!
-New Look Black coated leather-look zip leggings
By far the comfiest trousers I own.
A great investment piece for the winter, especially for cold and rainy days as they are super warm (they are lined inside). I adore their versatility: they look fierce dressed down with a jumper and a pair of hiking boots but they also look chic dressed up with a silk blouse and heels.
Definitely, a must-have in my wardrobe! I have been wearing them a lot and they always make my outfit stand out while being extra cosy.
-Shakira and JLo Pepsi halftime super bowl show
One of the best live performances I saw recently: I literally was glued on the screen and I watched it twice that evening.
They were absolutely incredible! I loved everything about it: the choices of the songs, the choreographies, the costumes and most of all the powerful messages that they delivered: age is just a number (Shakira is in her 40ies and JLo is 50 but they nailed it) and they literally got loud with the political punch against Trump anti-Latino laws and the harsh immigration policies. To those stupid critics saying that they were too naked and it was anti-feminist I just have only one reply: Bollocks! They didn't show any more skin than any Love Islanders and most people at the beach so just shut up.
Well done girls! The super bowl song mix is now in my Spotify favourites. Chapeaux.
-Next in fashion with Tan France and Alexa Chung
As a super fan of Queer Eye, and with the passion for fashion I could not skip this show. I really liked it!
My favourite designer is Angelo, of course: Italians do it better (joking!)
I liked the fact that they seemed to punish with elimination mainly the couples that weren't going along very well, where someone was taking over the other without trying to meet halfway in their stylistic decisions, which is very educational in my opinion.
-Lovely valentine's day card
Exchanging cards for special occasions or just saying thank you is a very common British thing to do that I personally adore.
In Italy, it is not as popular as in the UK and I think it's a shame.
I chose this one among the others because otters are my favourite animals and I could spend hours watching documentaries about them cuddling in the water, therefore this was the cutest way of saying to Nic that I am still very much in love with him.
-Women of the dunes
My current evening read.
I chose this novel because it has 3 super attracting ingredients: strong women, a mystery and the sea.
My go-to song while on my way to work. His voice is what I need in the morning and the lyrics are so motivating to start my day right.
-Polo Bar (Liverpool Street station)
I met there with a friend for an oat cappuccino and a carrot cake, however, we regret not having indulged in delicious-looking full English breakfasts and pancakes we saw on other tables. Next time we will try them all!
It is a rather relaxed yet cosy bar, the staff is friendly and they leave you chit-chat for hours without coming every five seconds to ask you if you want anything else (meaning: order something else or get out).
It is a fancy cafe in the middle of Soho, and paradise on earth for a sweet tooth like me.
Highly Instagramable, the choice of cakes and breakfasts served is endless and they are all super yummy. The prices are obviously a bit higher than a normal cafe but, you know, sometimes it is OK to treat yourself! I had a tropical smoothie with a raspberry tart and they were both excellent!
