Today's recipe is a super quick pasta that will immediately float the boat of salmon lovers because it is made with a luscious sauce of double cream and smoked salmon.
It is another of my last-minute save dinner meals, as it is ready in only 12 minutes! It is super tasty and incredibly easy to make, so no "I can't cook" excuses for this. If I can do it, everybody can, I swear.
All you need is a hand blender, nothing fancy, it will be more than enough.
Good news for those who don't like spicy food: this recipe can be done in a more delicate version as it is delicious even skipping the chilli flakes.
Smoked salmon slices
A pinch of chilli flakes
Paprika and some parsley leaves to serve
A pinch of salt
1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil

First of all, bring 1.7l of water to boil and then add some salt and the spaghetti. This recipe is so fast that you can literally do everything while the pasta is cooking.
Cut the smoked salmon into thin slices with a knife.
Remove the skin from the shallot and cut it into thin cubes and fry it in a pan with some olive oil and chilli flakes to release its nice aroma.
Now put the salmon, the shallot in a mixing bowl and add the double cream. Blend it until you'll obtain a velvety cream.
Drain the spaghetti when they are almost fully cooked and keep a cup of pasta water aside just in case.
Add them in the pan with the sauce and stir well, allowing the pasta to finish to cook in the salmon cream, which will only take a minute. If the sauce is too dry, you can easily make up for it by splashing a bit of pasta water left aside.
There you go, fabulous salmon spaghetti ready for you!
For an extra touch, add a parsley leaf and sprinkle with paprika.
